Kijk & Luister is a collaboration between artists Daniel Vatsky (USA) and Isabelle Jenniches (NL).


Working in tandem -or as soloists -Kijk & Luister create audio-reactive visuals in real-time using a custom designed software/hardware system. Every performance is unique and created entirely live.


Kijk & Luister has performed at some of New York City's most popular and respected video performance venues, including F:T:H at Remote Lounge, The Bunker at Subtonic, Eyewash at Freight, Share at OpenAir, and the Festival of Mixology hosted by Roulette. K&L has provided visuals for musicians working on the forefront of the electronic music and DJ scenes, including Timeblind, Koosil-ja Hwang, qpe, Marina Rosenfeld, and David Lee Myers.

"kijk & luister" translates litteraly from Dutch into "watch and listen." In the Netherlands it's the name for the money you pay for TV and radio service -"kijk & luister geld." It's also an act that regulates the use of cameras in public space, specifying the government's ability to spy on you.
